Craigerne Accountancy is a chartered accountancy practice based in the town of Peebles. It was founded by Claire, a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience working with a wide range of businesses and organisations. Her experience spans from tradespeople, restaurants, charities, farming businesses, retailers, financial services, and property owners. 

Claire has worked for both small and multi-national accounting firms giving her the breadth of experience needed to support both small and larger clients.  She provides practical clear advice on accurate and efficient record-keeping, tax planning, and helping business owners make informed decisions to support growth.

We operate a fixed fee pricing schedule for all clients. This gives business owner clarity and certainty over costs, with the reassurance that everyone is charges using the same transparent fee schedule - so there’s no concern about being overcharged.

Our fees compare favourably with other accountants. This is partly due to being based in an area with lower operating costs, but also because we avoid the overhead costs of large offices and expensive marketing budgets.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys running and walking with the family dog, Cooper.   She is also the treasurer for her son's local football team in Peebles.
