Craigerne Accountancy is a Chartered Accountancy practice based in the town of Peebles. It is run by Claire and Grant Foster who are both ICAS qualified accountants and have over 50 years of accounting experience between them covering a wide range of business types and sizes.  Both Claire and Grant have significant experience spanning Big Four audit, international accountancy firms, as well as senior leadership roles within multinational businesses. 

Claire leads the delivery of accountancy and tax services, bringing significant practical experience advising businesses across a wide range of sectors including rental property owners, tradespeople, financial service providers, hairdressers, farmers, charities, and retailers.  Grant supports the commercial side of the practice, focusing on client relationships, marketing, technology and business development

We operate a transparent fixed-fee structure for all our clients. Business owners value knowing exactly how they will be charged, with the reassurance that everyone is billed using the same fair and consistent fee schedule.  Our rates compare well with other accountants, partly because we are based in an area where costs are lower but also because we avoid the costs of a large offices and marketing budgets.

Outside of work, Grant is a keen golfer while Claire enjoys running and walking with the family dog.   She is also Treasurer for Peebles Football Club.
